Stupid, Stupid Muslims
A British schoolteacher has been arrested in Sudan accused of insulting Islam's Prophet, after she allowed her pupils to name a teddy bear Muhammad.
This woman came to Sudan to teach children. She probably did it out of a motivation of contributing to those who are less fortunate. What does the Sudanese government do ? Lock her up and threaten to lash her because her students called a teddy bear Mohammed.
Disgusting unwarranted hypersensitivty and an extremely unjust punishment. If we allow things like this to happen, then we muslims ARE indeed stupid.

Coupled with the KSA court's ruling on the Mrs's who was gang-raped (and their subsequent reaction to the world media's responce)... I am sometimes left speechless as to the infantile nature of some of our establshments.
I burst out laughing when I read the article this morning. Its not the imprisonment of the poor woman I was laughing at, but at the pathetic judgement of the authorities. Dont they have bigger issues in Sudan at the moment?
It's unfortunate indeed.
Perhaps the title must read - "A few Stupid, Stupid Muslims"?
Just a thought.
When I initially read the story, I thought a common vote lead to the naming of the bear, Mohammed. And if the teacher did name the bear herself, she probably chose Mohammed to make it more relatable to the children.
The unfortunate thing is that after this incident there may not be many that might want to come and teach in Sudan anymore. Who loses out? The children, of course.

why she choose Muhamaad ?!!! it's a holy name for muslims .. it's our prophet name .. next time maybe she will think twice before name it .. lol
guys, let's remember that the KIDS chose the name not the teacher.
I want nakheel to build a huge island near The World by the shape of a Teddy Bear and call it Sudan just to make a point.
I don't understand why a Moslem would have a problem with a Teddy bear named Mohammed.
After all, the Buddhists have no problem with Yogi.......
